Today this painting got it's final acrylic florals set in, and the first layer of oil is drying on the face. I'm practicing putting a green background under the skin tones to make its peach aspects pop more, and trying to discipline myself to go slow and accumulate more than 5 layers! So far so good!
Painting in oil can feel so lovely.
