Vigil
As an interactive advertising campaign for SPU's 24 hour prayer vigil I designed, printed, cut, and installed 480 paper doves onto the walls of the SPU campus. Each dove had a different time slot for prayer printed on its back. Through poster instructions, students were encouraged to pull a dove off the wall as a way of reserving a time to pray, and to be able to take the dove with them as a reminder.

Depression Awareness Street Art
I created this community artwork about depression awareness with my collaborator and friend, Henry Jarman. We cleaned up and gardened an abandoned building near our university in Seattle, Wa, and installed a painting of a smiling face over the building's doors. We hoped the ivy surrounding the face would create the illusion of hair. In front of the building we installed a love letter to the community with depression resources. We then hung 40 hand-written compliments on paper leaves and invited passers-by to take them.

I had the opportunity to make the sweatshirt design again this year for the SPU Falconettes! The lovely ladies chose an anchor theme after I provided them two different images based on scripture. The anchor and the rope tied into the loose shape of a knot reference how humanity is "bound together in love" and how God is like an anchor, stabilizing us.
I worked on streamlining how I work with clients, in this case a group of 25+ clients, to manage their needs and desires while simultaneously expressing my design goals and limitations. By limitations I mean setting a number of mockups I will create for them that is reasonable for my time and their needs. This year I created two options rather than last year's four and it felt not only easier for me to handle, but easier for the group to decide between. I am learning!
The design will be printed on the bottom left corner of berry colored women's crew neck sweaters sometime next week. Looking forward to seeing them printed!

This was the other option that wasn't used:

2nd info graphic for Orchid Project
Orchid Project has released my second info graphic!!! This one details the prevalence of female genital cutting in countries other than Africa. It's been such a blessing working with this organization to spread knowledge about FGC.
