Rowdy Raises Hell

Perhaps not the most appropriate children's book title, but Rowdy Raises Hell was the hypothetical plotline on my mind this week. When I was growing up, A Week of Raccoons was one of my very favorite books. It was about a family of raccoons that relentlessly invaded a couple's farm. Frog's Holiday was a favorite of mine too, another tale of animals joyfully overpowering humans' space, this time in a laundromat. There's just something about animal takeover stories - I love them.

I had a good time sketching and musing on this potential story, Rowdy Raises Hell, about an exuberant raccoon who doesn't know his own limits and is certainly unaware of other's.
