Digital Manipulation flowers


Had a fun afternoon arranging pdfs of watercolor paintings into a new painting - in progress:

Church Choir Doodler

I have been saving doodled on church programs for the past 9 months...excited to pull out some of the good ones, draw them more fully, and make a series of them :)

I really like the way the drawings overlap with the music, or words, and creamy colored paper. I especially like the proximity of the man in the lower left corner to the words "gun violence awareness Sabbath".

Portland Rain (Magical Properties)

I went to Las Vegas this week - which was fun - but which fully convinced me that I belong in Portland, Oregon. This little painting is one of my odes to magical, beautiful Portland.
