I've been feeling inspired recently to start working on two new paintings to accompany this one that I did earlier in the year. It is part of the series I did for my senior capstone, "A Study on Love", in which each painting focused on the chemicals involved as you fall in - and out - of love. I feel this painting turned out the strongest, it illustrates a lack of dopamine in the brain, and so I am making it two new sister paintings as their own series. The new chemicals I'll be investigating are Cortisol and Glucocorticoids. Here's a look at one of the new sister paintings (still in it's under layers):
